Is President Biden involved in the biggest bribery scandal yet? An FBI document threatens to topple Biden’s presidency

A news outlet has revealed fresh information regarding a confidential document scrutinized by House Republicans, indicating possible implications for President Biden.

According to the report, the FBI document purportedly suggests that an executive of Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian natural gas company where Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a board member, paid $5 million to the President.

The majority of reports on these allegations predominantly come from conservative-leaning outlets. Straight Arrow News offers a more balanced view of the coverage on its Media Miss page.

Insiders shared with the news outlet that the document, dated June 2020, discloses the Burisma executive’s discussions with a confidential source in 2015 and 2016. According to the document, the executive reportedly stated that he or she made payments of $5 million each to then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, to facilitate the company’s access to the U.S. oil market. This payment reportedly took place amid an investigation into Burisma conducted by Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

President Biden has previously acknowledged his influence on the Ukrainian government to dismiss Shokin while he was Vice President.

In 2018, Biden confessed that he had threatened to withhold $1 billion in vital U.S. aid to Ukraine if Shokin was not removed from office. Supporters of Biden maintain that the firing was a policy decision rather than a personal one.

Former President Donald Trump has previously stated that the dismissal of Shokin was one of the motivations behind his request to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to launch inquiries into the Biden family’s business transactions in Ukraine.

The executive from Burisma reportedly informed the informant that the payments made to the Bidens were routed through a myriad of different bank accounts, which he suggested would take investigators approximately “10 years” to decipher.

The FBI was subpoenaed for the document by the House Oversight Committee, sparking a standoff between the committee and the bureau. Threats were made by House Republicans to hold FBI Director Wray in contempt of Congress, until the FBI granted all committee members the opportunity to review the document in a closed-door session.

President Biden dismissed the allegations as “a bunch of malarkey” on June 8. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden has been under federal investigation since 2018 due to his tax affairs, which reportedly involve suspicious foreign transactions.
