Salem Elementary among top 10 finalists for playground equipment grant

Fredericksburg, Virginia – Ensuring that playground equipment is accessible to all is of utmost importance. However, the expenses related to engineering and procurement of raw materials often hinder certain organizations from acquiring commercial-grade apparatus.

In light of this, Salem Elementary took the initiative to apply for a grant that focuses on providing new playground amenities. The school has now advanced and stands amongst the top ten finalists, vying for the grant of $100,000.

The decision of the winner is based on a voting mechanism. The public is encouraged to participate by casting their votes daily.

This competition is organized by The Children’s Place.

Interested individuals can extend their support by voting daily until Aug. 31 on this link.
