14th Annual Northwest Ace Roanoke Wing Fest set to begin on August 26
Roanoke, Virginia – The highly anticipated Roanoke Wing Fest is set to begin in less than a week.
The renowned 14th Annual Northwest Ace Roanoke Wing Fest is scheduled to be hosted at Dr Pepper Park on August 26. Several distinguished local establishments, such as Tammy’s Grill LLC, Rocky Mount Smokehouse, L.A’s Wings & Things, and Bootleg BBQ, are preparing to participate.
Running from noon to 7 p.m., the festival, known as Star City’s premier one-day food event, will showcase live music, competitive events, and a variety of wings. Pricing is set by individual vendors, with each offering cost-effective sample portions.
For those looking to indulge further, larger quantities can be procured.
Attendees are advised to bring their seating, although chair rentals will be available for $5. Entrance tickets are priced at $5 if purchased in advance and $7 if bought at the venue. Admission is complimentary for children under the age of 12. Both credit card and cash payments will be accepted at the entrance; however, some vendors may only transact in cash.
Parking provisions have been arranged at the garage situated at 6 Riverside Circle. Additionally, vendor and handicapped parking spaces are designated in the level parking area directly before the garage, with clear signage to guide motorists.
