Virginia Beach, Virginia – Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced that ViDARR Inc., a company specializing in defense optical equipment, will invest $2.69 million over the next three years to establish a new manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach. This expansion will create 40 new jobs and reinforce the city’s role as a key player in the defense industry.

ViDARR Inc., headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, produces a range of advanced defense technologies, including night vision goggles, thermal optics, and autonomous systems. The company’s new facility will be housed in a 16,410-square-foot building at 2656 Lishelle Place in Virginia Beach, where it will expand its production and distribution capabilities.
