Mega Millions ticket sold in Deltaville becomes the only $1 million winner nationwide

Deltaville, Virginia – A lucky ticket purchased for Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing is now worth $1 million. The ticket, sold at the 7-Eleven at 16624 General Puller Highway in Deltaville, matched the first five winning numbers but missed the Mega Ball.

The winning numbers for the November 22 drawing were 13, 20, 26, 32, and 65, with the Mega Ball being 2. This ticket is the only one nationwide to match the first five numbers in this drawing. However, no ticket matched all six numbers, leaving the jackpot unclaimed. As a result, the jackpot for the next drawing, on Tuesday, November 26, has grown to an estimated $489 million.

Steps for the Lucky Winner

The Virginia Lottery urges the holder of the $1 million ticket to act promptly. The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. Before doing anything else, the Lottery advises the ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket immediately to establish ownership. When ready to claim the prize, the winner should contact the Virginia Lottery directly.

The million-dollar question remains: Who has the winning ticket? If you purchased a Mega Millions ticket at the Deltaville 7-Eleven, now is the time to check your numbers. You could be the lucky winner!

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 PM, and they can be streamed live at www.valottery.com. The odds of winning the $1 million prize are 1 in 12,607,306.

Supporting Education in Virginia

Every ticket sold by the Virginia Lottery contributes to K-12 education across the state. Middlesex County, where the winning ticket was purchased, received over $720,000 in Lottery funds for education last fiscal year. In Fiscal Year 2024, the Virginia Lottery raised more than $934 million for K-12 education, which accounts for about 10 percent of the state’s total K-12 school budget.

The Virginia Lottery encourages players to explore how funds are distributed to school districts through its Giving Back page.
