Roanoke, Virginia – In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, City offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. To accommodate this closure, the city has announced adjustments to the solid waste collection schedule, including trash, bulk, brush, and B week recycling services.
The revised schedule is as follows:
- Monday and Tuesday routes will be collected on Monday, November 25.
- Wednesday routes will be collected on Tuesday, November 26.
- Thursday routes will be collected on Wednesday, November 27.
Residents are encouraged to place their items out early on their designated collection day to ensure timely service.
