Virginia State Police issued a Senior Alert for a Roanoke County man who went missing

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Authorities are searching for a man who was reported missing, and Virginia State Police issued a Senior Alert on behalf of the Roanoke County Police.

Curtis Harvey Howell, 78 years old, is the subject of a police search. According to the authorities, he is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has green eyes and gray hair. The last time anybody saw him was on Saturday, October 29, at 5:55 p.m. on Goodwin Avenue in Salem.

Authorities said it’s possible that he was wearing dark jeans, a blue jacket with a red collar and brown slip-on shoes. They also believe he is traveling on foot.

Since he is said to have cognitive impairment, Howell’s disappearance is a big threat to his safety and well-being.
