Suspect arrested in connection with a robbery in Campbell County

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. – On Tuesday, a suspect for theft was apprehended in Campbell County.

On Tuesday, deputies acquired a search warrant for a Hurt residence located in the 3000 block of Moons Road.

The search was in relation to a theft of electrical devices and power tools that happened on October 12 in the 8000 block of Leesville Road in Lynch Station.

The Sheriff’s Office of Pittsylvania County was allowed to enter the residence and gather evidence. During the execution of the warrant, officers found that James Daniel Little owed many charges. Little was brought to the Pittsylvania County Jail after his arrest. Deputies kept looking into Little and found that he was involved in a number of crimes in Campbell and Pittsylvania counties.

Little is held without a bond. Several criminal charges are still pending, according to deputies.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, the Brookneal Police Department, and the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office collaborated in the investigation.
