Member One Federal Credit Union unveils new learning and development center in Roanoke
Roanoke, Virginia – A ceremonial ribbon cutting marked the opening of a new Learning and Development Center at the Member One Federal Credit Union in Roanoke this Tuesday.
Situated at the organization’s corporate site on 4th Street, the newly established center is primarily designed to bolster financial literacy within the community. This endeavor is reflective of Member One’s commitment to fostering an informed and financially responsible society.
The Learning and Development Center boasts an array of amenities designed to facilitate productive engagements and interactions. These include a spacious central café designed to function as a communal gathering area, four dedicated meeting rooms for structured discussions, and individual work pods for those seeking a more private workspace.
Jean Hopstetter, Senior Executive Vice President of Member One, expressed her enthusiasm regarding the potential of this new space, stating, “This new learning and development center is a hub for everything for us, it’s a hub for education, it’s a hub for learning, it’s a hub for professional development.”
In line with the launch of the center, Member One has outlined plans to conduct six educational finance seminars in the forthcoming month of August. These seminars will be accessible to both members of the credit union and its employees, further fostering the culture of financial literacy.
