New office location for Roanoke County Parks and Recreation opens to the public on April 7
Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Administrative Office is preparing for a relocation from its current site at the Public Service Center at 1206 Kessler Mill Road in Salem to a new location at 4818 Starkey Road in Roanoke County. The move is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 7.
To ensure that customer needs are met during the move, the department has announced a temporary change in how in-person customer service will be provided. On Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4, all walk-in services will be available at the Brambleton Center instead of the Kessler Mill location. Full services will resume at the new Starkey Road facility on Monday, April 7.
For those who need assistance during the transition, citizens and customers can still reach the department by phone at 540-387-6078 ext. 0 or via email at [email protected].
This move aims to better serve the community with updated facilities and improved accessibility while minimizing any interruption in services.
