Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office hosts year-end TRIAD event featuring classic holiday movie

Roanoke, Virginia – As the year comes to a close, the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office invites the community to its final TRIAD meeting of the season. This festive gathering will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the EnVision Center, located at 2607 Salem Turnpike NW, Roanoke, VA 24017.

A Holiday Gathering to Unite and Celebrate

The December TRIAD meeting offers attendees a chance to come together and celebrate the holiday season. The event will feature a viewing of the updated version of the classic holiday movie, Miracle on 34th Street. In true holiday spirit, attendees are encouraged to bring festive treats to share potluck-style. Whether it’s cookies, cakes, pies, or finger foods, these contributions will help create a warm and communal atmosphere.

During the meeting, organizers will also share a preview of some of the exciting topics planned for the upcoming year, making it a perfect opportunity to stay connected with the TRIAD community.

TRIAD is a partnership between local law enforcement, senior citizens, and senior service providers. Its goal is to work collaboratively to reduce criminal victimization of the elderly while fostering strong community relationships.

Whether you are a TRIAD regular or joining for the first time, this holiday event is the perfect way to celebrate the season, enjoy great company, and learn about how TRIAD continues to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in Roanoke.
