Roanoke County temporarily suspends recycling services due to equipment issues

Roanoke, Virginia – Roanoke County announced a suspension of its recycling services following an equipment malfunction at the recycling processor’s facility.

As a result, all recycling trailers were removed from the area on Wednesday, October 30. The trailers will remain off-site until repairs are completed at the processing facility.

Residents are encouraged to hold onto recyclables if possible and stay tuned for updates regarding service restoration. Roanoke County will provide notice once services are ready to resume.
