Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office hosts family-friendly Halloween bash with trunk-or-treat and additional activities

Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is hosting its Spooky Boo Halloween Bash tonight, inviting the community to enjoy an evening full of fun, candy, and festive activities at the Berglund Center Parking Lot, located at 710 Williamson Rd NE in Roanoke. The event, running from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., is open to everyone, promising a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration.

Activities for All Ages

With over 30 decorated trunks filled with candy, the Trunk-or-Treat event will provide plenty of treats for eager trick-or-treaters. In addition to candy giveaways, attendees can participate in a range of activities, including a costume contest for kids, pumpkin painting, hayrides, and a bounce house. For those wanting to capture memories of the evening, a photo booth will also be available.

The event is completely free, with hot dogs, chips, and drinks provided for all attendees. The Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with community partners to ensure an entertaining and safe Halloween experience for everyone.

“We’re thrilled to see so many in the community join us for this special evening,” said a spokesperson for the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office. “Come out, enjoy the activities, and celebrate Halloween with us!”
