Crystal Creek Drive to shut temporarily nex week for hazardous tree removal

Roanoke, Virginia – The local authorities have announced a temporary road closure on Crystal Creek Drive for Monday, September 23, 2024.

This necessary closure is to facilitate the safe removal of a hazardous tree positioned between Route 221 and Willow Springs Road. The affected segment of the road will be closed to all traffic from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

To minimize inconvenience, message boards will be installed in advance around the neighborhood to inform residents of the upcoming disruption.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during this period to avoid delays. The focus is on ensuring public safety while maintaining road integrity and minimizing ecological impact.
