Family activities and Oktoberfest celebration planned for Bent Mountain Fall Festival

Bent Mountain, Virginia – The Bent Mountain Fall Festival is set to take place on Saturday, September 28, at the Bent Mountain Center, located at 10148 Tinsley Lane, Bent Mountain, VA 24059. This community event will feature a full day of fun, food, and entertainment for all ages. Admission to the festival is free, making it an ideal outing for families and friends looking to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the fall season.

Family Fun from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The festival kicks off at 12:00 PM with a wide range of family-friendly activities that promise to delight visitors of all ages. Attendees can explore unique products and crafts from local vendors such as Roselawn Bake Shoppe, Echo Ridge Farms, and Sunny Day Acres, showcasing everything from homemade baked goods and pumpkins to beautiful mums and handcrafted items.

Live music will set the tone for the afternoon, with performances by Henry Brickney from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, followed by Root 2 Music from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Other attractions include blacksmithing demonstrations, inflatable obstacle courses for kids, a petting zoo, and pony rides provided by McSmith Farm. Children will also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including large lawn games.

Oktoberfest Celebration from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

As the day transitions into the evening, the festival will embrace the spirit of Oktoberfest from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy live music by The Sauerkraut Band, who will bring lively German tunes and a festive atmosphere to Bent Mountain.

Throughout the festival, a variety of delicious food and drinks will be available for purchase, ensuring that attendees can indulge in their favorite treats. Local vendors such as The Soup Shop and Heritage Apiary will be on-site, providing an array of options to satisfy every craving.
