Woman, who worked at a rehabilitation facility and took advantage of disabled patients, engaged in sxual act with one of them and made the other believe they are in romantic relationship before asking them money; arrested

A 39-year-old registered nursing assistant, identified as Jessica, was arrested for alleged inappropriate seхuaI relationships with her patients and is facing charges of improper conduct by an employee in the first and second degrees, according to the sheriff’s office and the police department.

The incidents leading to these charges are disturbing. Jessica allegedly took advantage of disabled patients at the nursing home she worked at. In November, detectives were called in to investigate after complaints surfaced about an employee performing oraI seх on residents.

Another alarming allegation involved a quadriplegic man who believed he was in a relationship with Jessica. The man reported that Jessica had convinced him to give her money to pay her rent, amounting to approximately $788 over three months. Similarly, another patient, a double-leg amputee on dialysis, was also manipulated into giving Jessica $750 for a car payment. Despite these financial transactions, both patients declined to press theft charges against Jessica, with one of them saying, as stated in court documents, ““[H]e figured he got his money’s worth as many times as she [performed a seхuaI act].””

Upon learning about these allegations, the nursing home took immediate action. They reported the incidents to the police and state officials, suspended Jessica, and then terminated her employment. The nursing home emphasized its commitment to patient care and safety, stating they were deeply concerned and saddened by the allegations. Jessica was arrested and booked into jail.
