Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office to host free lunch event on National Hot Dog Day

Roanoke, Virginia – In celebration of National Hot Dog Day, the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is planning to offer free hot dogs to the local community.

The Sheriff’s Office is scheduled to organize this event on Wednesday, July 19, extending from 12:30 in the afternoon until 2:00 p.m. This initiative is part of the commemorations marking National Hot Dog Day, a festive occasion dedicated to the celebration of this beloved American food staple.

The venue for this delightful occasion will be Washington Park, with the main setup situated at the top level near the recently refurbished basketball courts, as confirmed by the officials.

The organization Clean Sweep 23 has contributed significantly towards the supplies necessary for the successful execution of the event. Moreover, D & G’s Wonderland, a local business, will be enhancing the family-friendly atmosphere of the event by supplying a bounce house for children’s enjoyment.

The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office informs us that the hot dogs will be offered freely until the supplies are depleted, making early arrival advisable for those who want to enjoy this festive offer.
