Roanoke Lebanese Festival returns to the Star City after three-year hiatus

Roanoke, Virginia – After three long years of waiting, the Roanoke Lebanese Festival has finally returned to the Star City, marking its 22nd anniversary.

This highly anticipated event is renowned for its vibrant celebration of Lebanese culture, featuring a feast of mouthwatering Lebanese cuisine, soul-stirring Lebanese music, and captivating traditional Lebanese folk dancers in full, resplendent attire.

As preparations for the event reach their final stages, the organizers cannot contain their excitement at the prospect of bringing this beloved family-friendly festival back to Roanoke. One of the organizers, Samuel Silek, a devoted parishioner at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church, expressed his exhilaration, stating, “We are super excited, right, to be able to have everyone back. And we open our arms to everyone to come enjoy the festival.”

The festival is scheduled to run from June 2nd to June 4th at the St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church located on Cove Road NW in Roanoke. Admission and parking are free, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich culture of Lebanon without any barriers. It is an event that promises to be unforgettable, and one that is not to be missed!
