Bedford County, Virginia – On Friday morning in Bedford County, a man from Montvale died in a two-vehicle accident.
The Bedford Police Department received reports of the incident at approximately 5:20 a.m. and promptly dispatched officers to the 900 block of Blue Ridge Avenue to investigate.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that the collision occurred when 85-year-old Ronnie Lantz attempted to make a left turn onto Ole Turnpike Dr from Blue Ridge Avenue. It was at this moment that a westbound driver collided with Lantz’s vehicle, resulting in deadly consequences.
