Roanoke shed fires extinguished by fire crews

Roanoke, Virginia – Two shed fires in Northwest Roanoke were extinguished by the Roanoke Fire-EMS crews. Tuesday morning.
According to fire crews, at 1:56 a.m., Roanoke Fire-EMS was dispatched to the 2600 block of Portland Avenue Northwest for a fire.
According to Roanoke Fire-EMS crew, the call went out just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from the 2600 block of Portland Avenue NW.
When crews arrived there, they found two sheds close in proximity, fully involved.
Fire officials reported that no one was injured in this incident, and the cause of fire is under investigation.
