Virginia State Police issue Senior Alert for missing 68-year-old man

Roanoke, Virginia – A missing 68-year-old man is currently the subject of a senior alert issued by the Virginia State Police (VSP) on behalf of the Roanoke Police Department.

Reportedly, the 68-year-old Bradford Allen Burgess was last spotted on Pheasant Grove Road SW in Roanoke at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, March 20th.

Authorities believe he was wearing a dark baseball cap, black boots, camouflage cargo pants, and a red, black and white jacket.

Burgess stands about 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He has hazel eyes and grey hair.

VSP has shared that Burgess has a cognitive impairment which heightens the concerns for his safety and wellbeing.

Anyone who has seen him or has any information regarding his current whereabouts is urged to come forward and report to the authorities.

The public is urged to immediately call 911 if they have any relevant information to share. Let us come together and ensure that Burgess is safely reunited with his loved ones.
