Tractor-trailer accident on Route 29S resulted in delays; no injuries recorded

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – According to VDOT, there are now delays as a result of an accident involving a tractor-trailer that occurred on Route 29S in Pittsylvania County.

According to the authorities, the crash took place close to Dry Bridge Road. As of 5:05 in the morning, the southbound right lane and the right shoulder have been closed.

Virginia State Police said, fortunately, the crash did not result in any injuries.
