According to a new report, Elon Musk may start firing Twitter staff as early as this Saturday in order to improve his company’s operations.
Several news stories say that the new owner of Twitter has ordered layoffs across the company.
The layoffs were going to take place before Tuesday, which was the day that workers were supposed to get stock grants as part of their compensation package.
After the billionaire took control of the social media company, it was predicted that there would be cuts to Twitter’s staff of 7,500 people. Thursday was the day he sacked some of the company’s senior executives.
So far, neither Twitter nor Elon Musk have responded to these allegations.
