Several dozen satellites launched into orbit by SpaceX

On Saturday night, SpaceX was able to successfully launch 35 satellites into orbit. One of those satellites was a massive test satellite designed to supply power to mobile devices in remote areas.

According to Fast Company, the AST SpaceMobile’s Blue Walker 3 is around the size of a studio apartment and has the ability to unfurl into a flat screen that is 693 square feet in size. This screen will emit artificial light that will be brighter than all of the night stars in the sky combined.

Elon Musk’s business, SpaceX, also launched 34 internet satellites from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida at 9:20 p.m. using a Falcon 9 launcher on its 14th flight, establishing a record for the most number of times a rocket booster has been reused, according to SpaceX.

According to the space corporation, the Falcon 9 successfully landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean following its launch.

According to SpaceX, the new Starlink satellites have joined a constellation of around three thousand other satellites that are located in low Earth orbit and are delivering internet access to more than 400,000 members.
