Wristbands given to people waiting in line to see Queen’s coffin removed from eBay

Wristbands given to those waiting to see the Queen in state are no longer for sale on the online site eBay.

Some people tried to make money off of the situation by selling the bands. Before they were taken off the market, they reportedly got offers totaling several thousand pounds.

“These items are against our policies and we are removing them from our site,” a spokesperson for eBay said.

According to the policy of eBay, event tickets such as concert tickets, festival tickets, sports tickets, and theater tickets cannot be offered on the site.

On Sunday morning, there were a few orange wristbands that were still available on the site under the title “new listing.”

Starting bids ranged from twenty to one hundred and fifty pounds for a wristband.
