Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office invites community to annual Special Olympics Hot Dog Sale fundraiser
Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is gearing up for its third community event of the year in support of Special Olympics, inviting locals to come together for a meaningful cause wrapped in a warm bun.
The annual Special Olympics hot dog sale will take place Tuesday, May 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the corner of 3rd Street and Campbell Avenue. The fundraiser encourages residents to stop by for a quick, delicious lunch while backing the incredible efforts of Special Olympics athletes.
The menu offers flavorful choices at affordable prices: a Hot Dog Combo with or without homemade chili for $7, which includes two hot dogs, a bag of chips, and a beverage. A Nacho Combo option, also with or without chili, is available for $5 and comes with a bag of chips and a beverage.
All proceeds from the event go toward supporting local Special Olympics programs, providing participants with opportunities to shine both on and off the field.
