Roanoke County residents advised of overnight closure on Timberview Road for urgent culvert pipe repairs

Roanoke, Virginia – Roanoke County residents should be aware that a portion of Timberview Road will be closed overnight starting Sunday, July 20, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday morning. The closure is necessary to allow crews to replace a deteriorated culvert pipe under the road near 2338 Timberview Road.

During this time, a temporary detour route will be set up to ensure that all homes on Timberview Road remain accessible. Drivers are encouraged to follow posted signs and detour directions carefully.

In the event of bad weather, the work and closure will be postponed to the following night, July 21-22. Message boards have been placed in the area to alert residents of any changes to the schedule.
