Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office reminds eligible Virginia students of approaching criminal justice scholarship deadline
Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is reminding eligible students that the deadline is fast approaching to apply for a $1,000 scholarship through the Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute (VSI) Scholarship Program for the 2025–26 academic year.
This opportunity is specifically aimed at those pursuing studies in law enforcement or criminal justice and provides meaningful support for Virginians seeking a future in public safety. The VSA Scholarship Program is part of a broader initiative to support education across the Commonwealth and is offered in areas where sheriff’s offices participate in the Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute (VSI) scholarship fundraising efforts.
