Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office to host 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is once again inviting the community to tee up for a great cause. The 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the scenic Blue Hills Golf Club, located at 2002 Blue Hills Drive NE in Roanoke. This annual event brings together residents, businesses, and local supporters for a day of spirited competition and community giving.

The tournament will kick off with lunch at 12:00 p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Golfers can enter the tournament as individuals for $100 or form a team of four for $400. The entry fee includes lunch, refreshments, a golf cart, and all greens fees.

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, along with special contests for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and a Hole-In-One challenge.

Sponsorship Opportunities Available

Local businesses and community leaders are encouraged to support the tournament through several sponsorship levels:

  • Colonel Level – $2000
    Includes two team entries, two hole sponsorships, program listing, signature sponsor recognition, and beverage sponsorship.

  • Major Level – $1500
    Includes two team entries, two hole sponsorships, and program listing.

  • Captain Level – $1000
    Includes two team entries and two hole sponsorships.

  • Hole Sponsor – $150

This event supports the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program, a vital initiative that educates elementary school children about the dangers of drug abuse and helps guide them toward making safe and healthy life choices.
