Roanoke County invites families to Green Hill Park for a day of Easter egg hunting fun
Salem, Virginia – Roanoke County is once again inviting families to Green Hill Park in Salem for the 2nd Annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza, a community celebration full of fun, springtime excitement, and colorful surprises for kids of all ages. The event will take place on Saturday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and promises a cheerful day of outdoor activities.
The festivities kick off at 11 a.m. with an Easter egg hunt designed for children in kindergarten and older. At noon, the spotlight turns to the youngest participants, with a special egg hunt just for children aged 4 and under. This staggered schedule ensures all children have a safe and enjoyable experience collecting eggs and enjoying the seasonal fun.
Roanoke County officials encourage families to bring baskets, wear comfortable shoes, and prepare for an afternoon of memory-making. Whether it’s your child’s first egg hunt or a family tradition, the Egg-Stravaganza is a great way to celebrate the season and enjoy the outdoors.
Green Hill Park is expected to be lively with activity, so early arrival is suggested. Attendees are also encouraged to check the county’s website or social media pages for updates in case of inclement weather.
