Roanoke to host Prepareathon event to help families prepare for emergencies
Roanoke, Virginia – Roanoke Stormwater Utility and Fire-EMS are joining forces once again to present Roanoke’s Prepareathon, a free event dedicated to helping residents of the Roanoke Valley stay prepared for natural disasters and emergencies. Scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Berglund Center Coliseum, this community event aims to provide essential knowledge and resources in a fun and engaging way.
