Residents urged to exercise caution in flood-prone areas of Roanoke County

Roanoke, Virginia – Roanoke County Fire & Rescue has issued a crucial advisory for residents and travelers in the area, highlighting several streets and roads prone to flooding. The following areas have a history of experiencing high water levels or even structural flooding during heavy rain or significant weather events. Additionally, some roads on the list have previously been affected by mud or rock slides, making them particularly hazardous during storms.

Residents and visitors are urged to exercise extreme caution when traveling through these locations, especially during heavy rains or flooding conditions. Avoid these areas if possible to reduce the risk of accidents or becoming stranded.
