Public safety agencies invite the community to Summer Field Day at Green Hill Park
Salem, Virginia – Roanoke County’s public safety agencies are excited to invite the community to a Summer Field Day on Saturday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Green Hill Park in Salem. This free, family-friendly event offers a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a day of fun activities and connect with local public safety staff.
Families can look forward to a variety of attractions, including a bounce house, water slide, dunk tank, and Touch-A-Truck. To keep everyone refreshed, snow cones will be available, and various food vendors will be on-site offering delicious treats.
The event is sponsored by several local public safety agencies, including Virginia Probation & Parole, Roanoke County Emergency Communications, Western Virginia Regional Jail, Roanoke County Police, Roanoke County Fire & Rescue, and Roanoke County Sheriff’s Office. Staff members from these agencies will be present to greet attendees, answer questions, and provide insights into their important roles in the community.
