Traffic advisory issued for I-495 northbound due to sign structure work
McLean, Virginia – Triple lane closures are scheduled to take place during overnight hours this Thursday, July 11, on northbound I-495 from just north of Old Dominion Drive (MM 44.2) to Georgetown Pike, Exit 44 (MM 43.2). The closures will begin at 9:30 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m. the following morning. Despite the lane closures, one lane will remain open, but drivers should expect full traffic stoppages of up to 30 minutes each between midnight and 5 a.m.

In case of inclement weather or other delays, the work will be rescheduled for Friday night, June 12, and/or Saturday night, June 13.
