Road closures on Bald Hill Road scheduled for July 9-11 due to drainage pipe replacement

Leesburg, Virginia – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced that Bald Hill Road (Route 673) will be closed to through traffic for drainage pipe replacement from Tuesday, July 9 through Thursday, July 11. The road closure will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting. This section of Bald Hill Road lies between Loyalty Road (Route 665) and Taylorstown Road (Route 663)/Rosefinch Circle.

Access and Detours

Residents and property owners along Bald Hill Road will still have access to their properties during the closure. However, drivers will not be able to pass the point of pipe replacement, which is adjacent to the property at 41803 Bald Hill Road, from either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Loyalty Road, Stumptown Road (Route 662), and Newvalley Church Road (Route 663) to reconnect with Bald Hill Road. VDOT urges drivers to follow the posted detour signs for a safe and efficient rerouting.
