Prominent designer to speak at the Capital Remodel and Garden Show this weekend in Chantilly, Virginia

This weekend, the Capital Remodel and Garden Show will be held at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia. Vern Yip will be the main speaker.

The Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia, has been turned into a designer’s dream with renovation, home decor, and landscaping tips from some well-known experts.

From now until Sunday, February 26, Vern Yip, a designer, author, and reality TV star, will be on the main stage of this year’s Capital Remodel and Garden Show.

Yip was shown on the fifth season of HGTV’s Design Star and the first four seasons of TLC’s Trading Spaces.

Yip, who was born and raised in McLean, said that when he goes back home, he will be able to give some of his best advice to people who want to start over after the pandemic.

“Redecorating your home is a pretty big job. Yip said, “If you’re going to spend the time, energy, and money, you should do it in a way that shows how you use the space best.”

He said that overall, he hopes that people who go will feel more confident about how to make their homes work better and look better.

Yip said, “Before you spend a single dollar, you need to have that honest talk.”

On Friday and Saturday, he will be giving talks.

John Begeny and Christine Louise, who star in the WETA show “If You Lived Here,” will also be on stage this weekend. About 200 companies will show off their newest products and services.

Tickets for the three-day event can be bought online or at the door.
