Skippack Medical Lab rapid Covid-19 test kits recalled because they were not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration

Universal Meditech Inc. says that more than 56,000 COVID-19 antigen tests have been called back.

The company said that the Skippack Medical Lab rapid test kits were sold without the right permission or approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and called for all of them to be taken back.

The test results could be wrong if the kits were used.

The products being recalled were made between October 2021 and December 2021 and sold in January 2022.

People should stop using the devices right away and get in touch with the distributor to return them.
