Teenager shot and injured on Monday in Martinsville. Hospitalized with non-critical injuries, police

MARTINSVILLE, Virginia – On Monday, a 19-year-old man was shot near Hairston Funeral Home on Armstead Avenue. He was flown to the hospital.

Police in Martinsville say that the man was shot around 7 p.m. and that his injuries were not life-threatening.

Detectives are still trying to find out more about what happened.
