New York City film festival will include film shot in Pulaski

PULASKI, Va. – In the fall of this year, an independent film that was made in Pulaski and has a local cast as well as a local writer will be shown in New York City.

The month of November will see the “Noah’s Arch” film shown at the Urban Action Showcase International Action Film Festival.

At the event, one of the action sequences from the movie will be evaluated.

The video features shots taken in and around downtown Pulaski as well as the parks in the area.

“We are making our way to the big screen. We’re gonna see ourselves on the Oscars for the best independent film and we’re representing this community. This is phenomenal, the support we have,” Writer and Director Michael Iton said.

The full film is anticipated to premiere at the Pulaski Theatre next fall.
