New PittCo Mailbag allows citizens to submit questions to the local government

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Residents of Pittsylvania County now have an additional resource at their disposal for getting their questions about the community’s governing body addressed.

The officials of Pittsylvania County have established an online platform known as the PittCo Mailbag in order to make communication easier with the public.

Residents have the opportunity to submit any questions, both how and why, that they have about the functioning of the county government. After that, there will be a column published once a month that will address some of the questions that were submitted.

“We deal with these things on a day-to-day basis. We know how those operations go. We know why things are done the way they are done. Not everyone is in it on a day to day basis. We want to take the time to have people ask questions and take the time to answer those,” said Caleb Ayers, manager of public relations for Pittsylvania County.

The PittCo Mailbag can be found here.
