WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. – The Amber Alert that had been issued for a 4-year-old child who had been reported missing and was thought to be in danger has been canceled.
According to a statement made by the Arkansas State Police on their Facebook page on Monday, Caleb Johnson has been located and is safe.
Initial reports from police authorities indicate that the mother took the child from daycare earlier in the morning and then texted the child’s grandmother, threatening to hurt both herself and the child.
The authorities said that they had been found, but they did not disclose any additional information.
