Several charges filed against a driver in a Rocky Mount crash where two people were killed

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. – A man is charged with involuntary manslaughter in addition to DWI charges after killing two people in a crash.

Nicholas A. Davis, 31, was arrested and charged with DWI shortly after the crash in July. The additional charges were filed in General District Court for Franklin County.

21-year-old Melissa A. Holland and her 18-year-old passenger, Christian Hernandez, were killed in the three-vehicle crash at the crossroads of Old Franklin Turnpike and Booker T. Washington Highway in Rocky Mount.

No other injuries were reported.
