Roanoke Police are currently on the scene of an active incident on the 100 Block of Elm Ave. in Southwest Roanoke.
Authorities say the road is blocked off from Jefferson St. SW to 3rd St. SW and surrounding streets.
They are asking the community to avoid the area.
