Youth leader facing child porn charges in same Giles County church as abduction

A youth leader is facing child porn charges at the same church in Giles County where the abduction happened Sunday, according to the Giles County Sheriff’s Office.
However, the County Commonwealth’s Attorney said the cases connected to Riverview Baptist Church are not related to each other.
Warrants state that 31-year- old Justin Elliot Graves asked a child over 15 to do something sexual they didn’t feel comfortable with.

They go on to add that the actions happened multiple times between December up until recently.

Graves is now facing 10 charges.
Five are related to having a child engage in illegal acts. The others are for allegedly enticing a child to be in a pornographic image.
We reached out to the church and Graves attorney for comments. His attorney chose to not comment on the case.
The church did not get back to us.
Graves is currently being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
He will appear in court later this month to appeal his denied bond.
