One person was forced from their home following a house fire in Boonsboro

BOONSBORO, Va. – A structure fire was reported by firefighters in Boonsboro at 2:03 on Sunday morning. The incident was on Chadwick Drive.

It was reported to dispatch that there were no occupants inside the building anymore.

When the firefighters got there, they saw that an active fire had already burned through the roof.

At around 3:30 in the morning this morning, operations were carried out to put out the fire.

Investigators said that just one person, the homeowner, had to evacuate their house as a result of the incident.
