Roanoke County invites residents to a full day of fun at the Bent Mountain Fall Festival

Bent Mountain, Virginia – The community is invited to come out and celebrate the changing seasons at the upcoming Bent Mountain Fall Festival, set to take place on Saturday, September 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bent Mountain Center, located at 10148 Tinsley Lane, Bent Mountain, VA 24059. Admission is completely free, making this a perfect opportunity for families and friends to enjoy a fun-filled day in the heart of Roanoke County.

The festival will kick off with a variety of activities that cater to all age groups, offering something for everyone to enjoy. For early risers, a cornhole tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m., setting the tone for a competitive and energetic start.

Live Music and Local Flavors Take Center Stage

Throughout the day, guests can expect an array of live music performances, beginning with Root 2 Music taking the stage at 11:30 a.m., followed by Tim Martin closing out the entertainment lineup at 3:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for the music-filled afternoon.

Visitors will also have the chance to browse and shop from local vendors showcasing handmade crafts and products. Food and drink options will be available on-site, including beer, ensuring there’s something tasty for every palate.

Family-Friendly Attractions and Animal Encounters

For kids and families, the Bent Mountain Fall Festival has a full slate of interactive attractions lined up. Children can enjoy bouncing through an inflatable obstacle course, try their aim with axe throwing, and slide down a giant inflatable slide. A petting zoo will also be available, giving little ones the chance to meet and interact with adorable animals in a safe and friendly environment.

Additional children’s activities include large lawn games and other engaging, hands-on experiences to keep young attendees entertained throughout the day.
