Roanoke, Virginia – The City of Roanoke has announced that crews will be conducting vegetation removal along Gus Nicks Boulevard on Monday, August 25. The work will take place between Thrasher Park and Glade Creek, with lane closures expected throughout the day.
According to city officials, drivers should anticipate outer lanes being closed between Eastern Avenue and Pollard Street from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Crews plan to complete the vegetation removal on both sides of the roadway in a single day, but the project could extend into the following day if needed.
