Bank a Million winner in Henrico brings home $500,000 after matching six numbers

Henrico, Virginia – Lorenzo Robinson of Henrico had more than just luck on his side when he won $500,000 after taxes in the Virginia Lottery’s Bank a Million game. His win, from the November 13 drawing, brought joy not only to him but also to the store that sold the winning ticket.

Mr. Robinson purchased his winning ticket at Varina Market, located at 4110 Darbytown Road in Henrico. The store received a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery for selling the lucky ticket. On December 19, Virginia Lottery Executive Director Khalid Jones visited Varina Market to present a ceremonial check recognizing the retailer’s bonus.

Winning Numbers and Unique Play Style

The winning numbers for the November 13 drawing were 4-5-7-10-15-29, with the Bonus Ball number being 32. Mr. Robinson’s ticket matched all six of the primary numbers, meaning he didn’t need the Bonus Ball to secure his win.

What made this win even more remarkable was Robinson’s use of the game’s “Play Your Way” feature. By splitting his $2 wager into two sets of numbers, he doubled his chances to win. One of those sets brought him the $500,000 prize, with taxes already accounted for in the payout.
