Roanoke County hosts family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat event

Roanoke, Virginia – Roanoke County is preparing for a festive and safe Halloween celebration as it hosts its third annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Friday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Northside Middle School bus lot, located at 6810 Northside High School Road.

Families throughout the community are invited to enjoy this free event, which promises an evening filled with candy, laughter, and hands-on fun. One of the highlights includes a special “touch-a-truck” experience, where children can get up close and explore emergency and service vehicles.

Roanoke County’s 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat is designed to provide a festive and secure setting where children can collect treats while parents meet local public safety staff in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Representatives from various county public safety agencies will be on hand to greet attendees and ensure the event runs smoothly.

The county encourages families to come in costume and enjoy the Halloween fun while supplies last. The combination of community interaction, exciting vehicles, and sweet treats makes this a must-attend event for local residents looking to celebrate Halloween in a safe and family-oriented setting.

With local support and enthusiastic participation, Roanoke County’s Trunk-or-Treat event continues to grow each year, creating lasting memories for children and families alike.
