Roanoke County collaborates to ease students’ return to school with ‘Cuts with Cops’ event

Roanoke County, Virginia – Roanoke County officials are taking measures to facilitate the back-to-school transition for students and their families this academic year.

Various organizations within Roanoke and Roanoke County have collaborated to organize the “Cuts with Cops” event, an initiative where students can receive complimentary haircuts and essential school supplies.

As per county representatives, this event is scheduled to take place at Northside High School on August 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It should be noted that Roanoke County students resumed their in-class sessions on August 9.
